Sereni & Shentel is a true story about two best friends living in a little city in Borneo who have managed to turn their dream into reality through friendship, laughter, hard work, determination and a little headband magic. Written in rhyme and packed with colorful illustrations, Sereni and Shentel are turned into Plasterdoll characters as readers follow their adventures as accidental headband designers.
The decision to put together a children's book came about after observing the fascination little girls had with their Sereni & Shentel headband look books. In 2011, they met Jessica Wong, creator of illustrated characters called Plasterdolls. A collaboration was born and in mid 2012, the book was published under Sereni & Shentel's holding company, The Playground Borneo.
The book, called Sereni & Shentel, will be available nationwide in Malaysia in selected bookstores for RM50.
